Shriram Properties Ltd, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has announced a new premium housing project in Hinjewadi, Pune, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹700 crore.
According to a recent regulatory filing, the company has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with a landowner to develop around 0.7 million sq. ft. of premium residential space. This will be Shriram Properties’ second project in Pune, reflecting its growing focus on the city’s thriving real estate market.
Akshay Murali, Vice President – Business Development at Shriram Properties, stated that Pune continues to show strong housing demand, supported by its robust IT and industrial ecosystem. The company views this expansion as a strategic move to strengthen its presence in western India.
Shriram Properties already holds a significant presence in Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, and Kolkata, with 48 completed projects covering a total saleable area of 28.3 million sq. ft. The firm also maintains a development pipeline of 39 ongoing and upcoming projects, representing around 36 million sq. ft. of potential development.
This new Pune project reinforces the city’s status as one of India’s most dynamic real estate destinations, particularly for mid and premium housing segments.
